Minifiks is a connecting element used in furniture assembly. It is generally preferred in the assembly of furniture such as cabinets, bookcases, tables. The Minifiks system ensures that the panels are connected to each other firmly.

Working Principle of Minifix
- Alignment: For correct alignment of the panels, holes are drilled and the minifix insert is placed into these holes.
- Joining: The screw piece on the other panel engages with the teeth inside the mortise piece. As the screw is tightened, the minifix joins tightly with the mortise piece, which ensures that the panels are held together firmly.
- Compression: When the screw meets the mortise piece, it compresses the two parts of the panel together, ensuring that the connection is firm and stable.
Advantages of Minifix
- Easy Installation: Minifix connections make the installation process easy and quick.
- Hidden Connections: Minifix connections are usually hidden inside the panels, providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
- Durability: A well-designed minifix system joins the panels securely and durably, ensuring a long-lasting installation.
- Adjustability: Some minifix systems allow for minor adjustments after installation.
