Screw Types and Areas of Use
1-) Wood Screw :

It is the most commonly used screw type in furniture.
Commonly used lengths: 13,16,18,20,25,30,40,45,50 mm
Shape : Wide, toothed structure.
Area of Use : Designed to join wooden pieces. Generally, it has wide teeth and is long.
2-) Phillips Screw :

Shape : Star-shaped, usually four-sided.
Area of Use : It is widely used for general purpose screwing operations. It is especially common in automotive and electronic devices.
Area of Use : Used in simple and old screwing operations. However, the possibility of the screwdriver slipping is higher while screwing.
Area of Use : Used in applications requiring high torque. Common in electronics, automotive and some industrial applications.
Area of Use : Generally used in metal works and some furniture assembly. Suitable for high torque applications.
Area of Use : It is used in various machines, especially to ensure that rotating parts remain in place.
Area of Use : Suitable for thin metal sheets or plastic parts.
Area of Use : It can be used on metal, wood and some plastic materials without the need for pre-drilling holes.
Area of Use : Used in metal and some plastic materials. Usually used with nuts.
Area of Use : Used on concrete, brick or stone walls. Generally used in places where holes have been previously drilled.
Area of Use : Generally used in applications requiring greater torque. Tightened with a wrench.
Area of Use : Generally used for decorative purposes and in closed areas.
Each type of screw serves a specific purpose, and choosing the right type of screw is important to the success of installation and repair jobs.
